Homage is here with a new single titled Brighter Days Ahead‘ and it’s just such a beautiful & calm single. We had the honor of releasing the Evening Hues on the catalog in collaboration with steezyasfuck during January this year. I am always amazed how he succeeds to bring out such positive vibes but still nostalgic ones when he’s making beats – He also recently moved from Palm Springs, US to try live in Macedonia, Europe with his wife so i can imagine there’s a lot of new approaches and new inspiration for him to gather and i couldn’t be more excited to hear what he is producing lately.
Homage reflects and tells his story about this single: I made this track while in isolation from covid in a cabin on a lake in Michigan. The studio desk I was working from had 180 degree view of the lake, but it was very dark and eerie. At that time, we had a winter weather advisory, and the wind was howling. There was about 10″ of snow on the ground, and still accumulating.
While this was a very cozy setting, it was dark and eerie outside. I hadn’t seen the sun in a few days, hence the name of the track. Wherever you are in the world right now, I hope this track reminds you that there are Brighter Days Ahead.
