It is with great honor that I share a new collection and album from the iconic producer Al Dali, based in Calera, Alabama. Al Dali is one of the greats who set the bar high during the SoundCloud era with his Lo-Fi beats, helping to shape the scene into what it is today. This exclusive 14-track release has been added to his catalog, and I am truly excited to share it with you all.
In a recent phone conversation, Al Dali shared his vision for the future, expressing concerns about the growing dependence on AI-generated content and the pressure on musicians to maintain a visible presence on social media to prove they haven’t ‘fallen off.’ He pointed out a flaw in today’s society, where constant online activity is expected, and people start questioning your well-being simply because you prefer to stay in flight mode or stick to phone calls. I admire his thoughts and mindset because, in my opinion, some of the best productions come to life when artists limit themselves to their tools and space.
