Sonho Lúcido no Brasil is the new LP by Juan Ríos, offering a sonic immersion into the warmth of a dreamlike Brazil. Smooth lo-fi hip-hop rhythms blend seamlessly with Brazilian influences, creating an atmosphere rich in nostalgic textures, organic samples, and meticulous production.
This album expands on Juan Ríos’ signature sound by experimenting with Funk Carioca, 2000s Barber Beats, and bossa nova, adding a dynamic and unique character. With its uplifting energy, listening feels like floating in a dream.
Featuring 17 tracks, Sonho Lúcido no Brasil includes special collaborations with Saib and Wun Two, two key figures in the global lo-fi scene. The album’s mastering and layout were handled by Guayaba, while the artwork is an original creation by Juan Ríos, assisted by Midjourney.
Available exclusively on vinyl through Guayaba Records, the album will gradually roll out on digital platforms throughout the year. A new track will be released every two weeks until September, when the full album becomes available on all streaming services.
